Meet Dr. Yesenia Magallanes (Palos Heights, IL)

Dr. Yesenia Magallanes, O.D., received her Doctor of Optometry between Midwestern University and the Arizona College of Optometry. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Loyola University Chicago.

Dr. Magallanes is an experienced optometrist focused on comprehensive eye care and helping patients achieve and maintain healthy vision. Fluent in both English and Spanish, she is dedicated to providing personalized care and ensuring patients feel comfortable, informed, and confident about their eye health.

Dr. Magallanes was drawn to optometry because of her passion for helping others and her fascination with vision and eye health. Having worked in a variety of optometry settings since the age of 19, she developed a strong appreciation for the profession and remains committed to helping patients feel cared for and confident about their eye health. She especially enjoys patient education and takes pride in helping patients understand their vision needs, improve their eye health, and feel their best.
